Pushkar, the Gods Creation

As described in my previous blog, the place is the centre of Hinduism. The white houses around the lake soothens your mind and soul and the chanting of the mantras takes your attention to the supreme power.

The 52 Ghats or the bathing steps, all around the lake gets filled during the holy months and creates an atomosphere.

This is the vibrant Rajasthan. A lovely holy place in the north west of Rajasthan, called "Pushkar" said to be created by Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe as per the Hindu mythology.

People from various parts of the country come and take a dip into the holy water of Lake Pushkar. The small town is around this beautiful lake with the houses of the top most class of the society 'The Brahmins' as per the caste system in India.
